PopAwesome interview with Kat McPhee

The lovey Katharine McPhee (from American Idol) took the time to answer our PopAwesome Questionnaire. WHAT IS THE MOST AWESOME…

Song you’ve ever written?
Each song is different with a different emotion, but at the moment, the MOST awesome is “Lifetime.” I love how happy, sweet, and quirky it is.

Recipe you know by heart?
Greek red sauce! Soo yummy and lots of garlic. My mother-in-law is Greek, and she taught it to me.

Concert you’ve ever been to?
Dave Matthews Band! Mind blowing. I’ve seen them twice.

Date you’ve ever been on?
Griffith Park Observatory Laser Show. I was really impressed with this date. Especially since we were only in high school.

Website you visit each day?
Style.com is great. I love keeping up with the latest fashion things.

Thing to do on a rainy day?
Duh, play in it! Put those rain boots on!!

CD in your car?
Maxwell – his new record is hot!

Item of clothing in your closet?
illia leather jacket. I love illia’s clothes, but my jacket is my favorite right now.

City you’ve ever visited?
That’s not fair! This is a hard one. Okay, San Francisco will be my pick.

Movie you could watch a thousand times?
“Father of the Bride” and “Father of the Bride II”! They are always tear-jerkers!

Karaoke song?
I actually am not a huge fan of doing karaoke, but I love watching it. “Summer Lovin” is always a favorite.

Beauty product in your makeup bag?
Oh so hard! I love makeup. Consistently, my number one thing I always have in my purse is YSL mascara, and I love it.

Event in your life this year?
Working and completing my second record, “Unbroken.” Such a great, fulfilling experience.
